Experience-->Good Writing
An experience that taught me about good writing...let's see. Well, how about a paper or two that showed me what bad writing was? There were a couple of papers that I had to read and edit in the four years of English I had to go through in high school that were far from adequate. They had bad grammar, bad punctuation, and really bad spelling. Not to mention some of them made no sense and weren't entertaining at all. There were also a couple of papers that I read that were very descriptive and well written. I try and base my writing off of the good papers that I read than off the bad ones. I guess you could say I'm trying to learn from other peoples mistakes.

Learning from your mistakes is definitley a good way to discern between good and bad writing. Also, learning from your own personal mistakes makes it easier for you to become a better writer for yourself - KUDOS!
